Even the position of the gated shifter was carefully considered, being moved forward to provide a roomier rider area.
• YAMAHA'S EXCLUSIVE ON-COMMAND 4WD: At the request of the market, the 2020 Kodiak 450 EPS SE features the three-position On-Command® 4WD system, which lets you switch between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD and a fully locked differential 4WD all with the simple push of a button, while an override button allows engine to reach maximum rpm in full diff lock mode. This driver-controlled system eliminates hesitation or slipping while waiting for computer-controlled systems to engage, which is common in some competitive models. The On-Command 3-way locking differential and locked 4WD is only available with the Tactical Green model.
